Classes

Ashtanga Based Flow  Following the framework and flow of the Ashtanga series but allowing for the freedom to explore postures deeper and look for modifications when needed. Additional postures may also be added to discover new challenges and gain greater strength, balance and focus into the practice.  Prepare to move quickly, feel challenged and then surrender into a well deserved Shavasana. Intermediate to advanced. Beginners welcome~ Modifications offered.

Beginner Yoga  Beginner’s Basic Vinyasa Flow.  Starting with some gentle stretches & warm ups, followed by Sun Salutations and additional Asanas. Then a cool down to finish peacefully into Savasana.

Buti Yoga  Buti is an Indain Marathi word that means “a cure that has been hidden”  Butiyoga is a soulful blend of power yoga, cardio intensive tribal dance and deep abdominal toning fused with music.  It will sculpt your entire body while facilitating complete inner transformation, clearing away stuck energy and revitalizing the body.

Essential Oils Class  Essential oils can enhance so many areas of your daily life (not just your yoga practice).  They’re often used for immune support, relaxation and sleep, stress relief, emotional balance, skin care, respiratory health, green cleaning, and even muscle tension and pain.

Good Morning Flow  Get your day going with a warmed up body full of energy to start on the right foot.  Vinyasa flow style with plenty of circulation boosting moves. Some deeper holds, deep breathing and full body wake up is in store. Free coffee or tea available on your way out if you bring your reusable cup.

Hatha Yoga  Class is taught at a slow pace and includes a flowing sequence of poses linked with the breath. Asanas are held longer to build strength, deeply stretch the body and calm the mind. Emphasis is placed on alignment in postures and modifications are offered and encouraged.

Hot Power Yoga  Hot Power is practiced in a heated room to loosen muscles and encourage sweating. The room temperature is usually between 85 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  Intermediate to advanced. Beginners welcomed~ Modifications offered.

Hot Vinyasa  Hot Vinyasa is practiced in a heated room to loosen muscles and encourage sweating. The room temperature is usually between 85 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  Intermediate to advanced. Beginners welcomed~ Modifications offered.

Karma Yin  Practice consists of static holds, typically from one to four minutes in length. Postures are often seated, and the holds allow us to quiet muscular tension while accessing deeper tissues around the joints. Class is peaceful and very relaxing. It allows time to learn to mindfully connect with the body, and time to clear and still the mind. Good for all levels. Perfect physical complement to other more active yoga classes as well as to other athletic or strenuous daily activities.  Class is Free, but donations are accepted.

Power Yoga  Power yoga is a fitness-focused style that includes postures that are linked together in a continuous, challenging and creative flow that combines strength and flexibility while toning the body and clearing the mind.

Restorative Flow  Leave your mind at the door and be willing to break free from your ego. This class focuses on providing time to check in with your inner self while breathing and stretching.

Simple Sunday Yoga  A mellow Hatha class accessible to all skill levels. We de-stress the body with basic asanas that stretch and strengthen problem areas such as back, hips and shoulders, and we practice motion/transitions for improving balance, stability and confidence. The physical work is relaxing, but most importantly it creates a mental time-out as well.

Slow Flow  We explore how specific yoga poses can begin to release tension in the body.  Using basic poses we will work towards creating ease in the hips, shoulders and back area.

Strong & Steady Flow  Bring your inner strength and challenge yourself to find your edge. This class encompasses breaking through both mental and physical boundaries to nurture self discovery.

VinYin-YinVin  An active yoga class bringing in yin style static stretches, and vinyasa style flowing motion. We explore posture, alignment and a variety of asanas that build strength, stability and mobility. The combination of flow and yin is a powerful way to improve body awareness/mindfulness. Great for athletes, can be modified for more advanced practitioners.

Yin  Yin is a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body.  You will enter a deep state of relaxation as we hold the poses for 2-4 minutes (using props for support), listening to the sound of relaxing music to fall deeper into meditation. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility, as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas.  All Levels.

Yoga Core  Vinyasa flow begins this class.  Then we focus on our powerhouse, the core.  We work to strengthen our center creating a stable foundation for a healthy life.

Yoga in 30  Express yourself in this 30 minute practice it will awaken your breath, mind, and body in the morning.
