FAQ's

Is yoga for me?

YES!  We welcome everyone with every level of experience in our studio.  Always listen to your own body and take it at your pace. Our instructors will share modification options with you throughout our classes to meet your personal needs.

How long are your classes?

Most classes range from 30 to 60 minutes.  All class specific information is available on MINDBODY , our scheduling system.  Some classes and workshops run longer than 60 minutes, the time frames are listed in MINDBODY for those specific events.

What if I’m not flexible?

Many people who start out doing yoga are looking to work on their flexibility.  Each body is at a different place and that can change day to day. Listen to what your body tells you and listen to the instructor to see how poses can be modified and adjusted for your needs.

What do I bring to class?

Due to Covid-19 we require you to bring your own yoga mat and any props you may need during your class.  We do carry Manduka Mats for purchase in studio if you do not have a mat with you.  Please bring a water bottle, however, leave the glass containers at home.

What should I wear?

Wear something that you feel comfortable moving around in.  Some people enjoy close fitting, moisture wicking gear to help keep their body cooler as it heats up.  Yoga poses do require freedom of movement from your clothing and can go from standing upright to laying poses on your mat to upside down options.

How do I book a class?

Due to Covid-19 you must go to our MINDBODY page and book through the site or the app at least 30 minutes in advance of the class.  All booking and payments must be completed before you arrive at the studio due to limited space available in studio.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the class to get settled in.

What to do before class?

Stay hydrated before, during and after the class.   Arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class to get checked in and your area set up.  Try not to eat a large meal before class.

How do you clean the studio?

We hold high standards for cleanliness at FL Keys Yoga studio.  The floors are regularly steam mopped, surfaces are disinfected and the bathroom is cleaned daily.  Hand sanitizer is available for guests.  Mat cleanser and cotton towels are free for your use at all times while in the studio.

Do we offer childcare?

No we do not.

Due to Covid-19 we have a few other FAQs to add:

Will mask wearing be enforced?

We will follow all local guidelines on mask wearing while in studio.  We will be practicing social spacing in the studio and only allowing 6 students or less per class for the time being.

Will there be mats or props for us to use in the studio?

You must bring your own mat, towel and props.  If you need a mat, we have Manduka mats for purchase. As always, it is your choice to use props during your practice.

How many students will be allowed in the studio for classes or workshops?

For now, we will only be holding space for four to six students per class, workshop or event.  This allows for the CDC recommended social-distancing spacing.

Is it mandatory to pre-register for classes?

Yes, pre-registration will be mandatory and no-show fees will be enforced.  All payments and bookings must be made through MINDBODY.
